Author and journalist Maggie Jackson, Yale class of 1982, will be speaking about her new book Uncertain: The Wisdom and Wonder of Being Unsure at Tattered Cover bookstore (2526 E Colfax Ave. in Denver) on Wednesday February 26, 2025 at 6:00pm. A ticket purchase is required to attend this event

Uncertain reveals the critical role that productive unsureness plays in fueling human innovation, adaptability, and resilience, and details why and how we should practice not-knowing in an era of angst and flux. Nominated for a National Book Award, Uncertain has been named a top book of the year by the Next Big Idea Club led by Malcolm Gladwell, Dan Pink, Susan Cain and Adam Grant, as well as Indie Publishers of New England, Library Journal, Greater Good magazine and others. A former Boston Globe columnist, Jackson is also the author of Distracted (2nd Ed, 2018) and numerous other works of social and tech criticism.
