CYA Spring Hike

  • Dowdy Draw Trailhead 4100 Eldorado Springs Drive Boulder, CO, 80303 United States (map)

Join us for a spring hike with your fellow Yalies on the beautiful Spring Brook Loop (with an optional addition of Goshawk Ridge Loop), located just south of Boulder. The 5-mile round trip moderate hike has great views of the Flatirons and enters a lodge pole pine forest. Spring is a beautiful time of year in the foothills, so don’t miss this opportunity to get out and enjoy the outdoors!

Non-binding RSVP: Google Form

We’ll meet at the Dowdy Draw trailhead at 8:00am. The trail is moderate and very scenic. Bring a small pack with a water bottle and a few snacks, along with a raincoat just in case.

A $5 parking fee for cars registered outside Boulder County is required. Click here to pay for your parking in advance.

An optional add-on will be on the Goshawk Ridge loop, which will add 3 more miles to the round-trip distance.

Dogs on-leash are allowed on the northern half of the Spring Brook Loop, but not on the southern half of Spring Brook or on Goshawk Ridge.

Following the hike, an optional lunch gathering will occur at the Southern Sun (cash only) in Boulder.
