Feb Club started decades ago as a way for Yale College students to endure the gloomy days of February in New Haven with nightly parties. A group of students or organization would be handed down the solemn task of organizing 28 (29) parties around the Yale campus and spreading the word among the student population.   In 2008, two alumni at a class of ’87 lunch remembered the Yale College tradition. and they got the idea that this could be adapted as an alumni activity, and thus Feb Club Emeritus was born.

Feb Club Emeritus has only three rules: no speeches, no fundraising, it’s just a party.  Whether it’s two or three people in a mountain town or a large turnout in a Front Range city, we all gather together in a designated location for a strictly-social good time. It can be an opportunity to connect with that classmate you haven’t seen in ages or to meet a new best friend or someone to share an evening of stories. Bring your Mory’s cup , if you have one.
