Colorado Yalies will gather to cheer for the Bulldogs on Saturday, November 25th, when the hockey team plays the University of Denver Pioneers. The game starts at 6:00 pm. Our tickets are in upper section 19. There is a concession stand below section 19 (to the right as you are looking at the ice from the seats). Let’s plan to meet between the first and second periods at the concession stand to get a group photo of everyone wearing their Yale gear!
If you can’t make it to the game, it will be televised on the NCHC online streaming channel. Go to https://nchchockey.com/tv/subscriptions to sign up for a day pass the day of the game for $17. You should select Denver as your favorite school. You can watch on your phone, laptop, or tablet, and you should be able to cast the broadcast to your television from your device. if you want to watch the Friday night Yale-DU game, you could purchase a day pass to watch that game prior to attending the Saturday game. And if you want to watch both games at home, you could purchase a monthly pass for the month of November.
Tickets in the Yale area sold out almost immediately. If you can’t use your tickets, please let Dave Belin know: davebelin@comcast.net. There are several people who missed out on the ticket purchase and I can facilitate a ticket transfer between interested parties. There are still regular tickets available in other sections.
For those interested, we will have a pre-game get-together at 4:30 pm at Tacos el Matate, 2060 S University Blvd, Denver, CO 80210. Get a snack and drink and socialize with fellow alums before the puck drops. It’s a short walk to Magness Arena from the restaurant.
