Join your fellow Yalies for a summer hike above Golden on the Nightbird Gulch Trail. The hike is an out and back, with a loop at the top. The hike will be on Saturday, June 22, 2024 starting at 8:30am.
Total mileage on the hike is 5.2 miles with 1,200 feet of elevation gain. You get beautiful views above Golden and Denver, with great wildflowers along the way. Much of the hike is in the sun, but portions of the loop are in the shade. Bring a day pack with some water, snacks, and sunscreen.
Total round trip hiking time is about 3 hours. Dogs are allowed on-leash.
